An MRI scan uses a large magnet, radio waves, and a computer to create detailed images of the organs and tissues in your body. MRI may be used to help diagnose or monitor treatment for a variety of conditions within the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. It usually takes about 30-45 minutes to complete.
